Clean Green Certified
Clean Green Certified is a qualified third party program that verifies Cannabis crops grown using responsible agriculture, similar to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program. As a licensed California attorney with over 40 years of experience in agriculture, Chris Van Hook founded the Clean Green Certified Program in 2003. Clean Green Certified staff are experienced consultants for responsible Cannabis cultivation practices and environmental stewardship.
All medical marijuana products dispensed by CRAFT are lab tested for mold, mildew, and potency. Clean Green Certified products are prohibited from the use of hazardous or toxic substances during the cultivation, processing, handling, or storage of the product. All Clean Green Certified suppliers undergo annual review and lab testing procedures. All products that are not Clean Green Certified are lab tested for pesticide residues and residual solvent content (when applicable).
As a Clean Green Certified collective, CRAFT will follow standards similar to the USDA National Organic Program, and will not use hazardous or toxic substances; this non-use is confirmed at each annual renewal inspection. Methods reviewed by the Clean Green Certified program include the processing, handling, packaging, and storage of Cannabis products, as well as collectives’ cleaning procedures and inputs.
